About

I discovered a love of writing at a young age, filling countless notebooks with poems and short stories. That passion eventually led me to double-major in English and Writing at the University of Central Arkansas.

My articles, stories, and devotions have appeared in Marriage Partnership magazine, Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Best Advice I Ever Received, The Upper Room, and online for FamilyLife and The Oxford American Magazine. I authored a novel titled Letters (available here) as well as a non-fiction book, Mourn With Those Who Mourn: A practical guide to helping those who grieve (available here). In addition, I served as ghost-writer of a memoir titled Treasures in the Darkness, available in New Zealand. I also edit professionally.

I have been married to my husband since 2006, and we have two children. My dream is to use my writing to glorify God.
